Dreambox Exclusive Downloads Site!!

We are planning to start a Dreambox Exclusive Download website here. As the name tells, it will contain Dreambox tutorials and all downloads related to Dreambox. We need a dedicated team for uploading the files.

Please give your feedback on this! Is it okay to have this?

No. That site will be exclusively reserved for Dreambox only. You can find Echolink & other receiver files in this forum itself.

As majority of our members are having Dreambox, we planned this.

i think for sharring both are used widely so keep both on the new site. dreambox is cool but in my opinion echolink is more bcoz its cheaper and easily available everywhere i know how i got dreambox in pakistan. i had to wait for weeks after paying all the money in advance.

my opinion echolink and dreambox both should be on the new site you will not have to put an extra effort for echolink as its software is easily available everywhere. copy pase it put the link instead.

keep in mind all those who cant buy dreambox

Yes its a great idea, but dont forget to start from the scratch of basics from configuration to various options.
Some sites dont have the basics like DCC for set up and I hope that you will have them .

what about our dreambox sections on this forum?
we can make many catagery like subforum and software sections like read only for users
So moderators can upload like normal website...
But users canot edit or reply regarding that
Ceneral chat they can ask questions too...
also members can download or we can keep software sections without register can downlaod
So banned users also can downlaod as Guest so we have no how many downloads
Also we can add one more url like mvdig-dreambox.com or dreambox.asia direct to dreambox sections
What about this idea?

OK. Thats also fine. My intention is to make a section/site which has only Dreambox things. They should be readily available to our visitors without much search.

I would think the downloads should be exclusively for members logged in, just an idea, and in that sense you will know who has downloaded what. That would give a record on downloads.
So the privileged is the registered member.
But in all the idea is great as mentioned by Mvdig and Alan
