BBC accused of Lottery fake
The BBC are today accused of manufacturing the way that contestants are chosen on the National Lottery programme 1 v 100, the quiz show where one contestant faces one hundred contestants and the single person has to defeat the one hundred to walk away with the winnings.
The show has proved to be very popular with the viewers as it has a different take on the traditional quiz show. However there would seem to be a problem with the choosing of the single contestant; the programme makes out that the competitor is chosen at random.
The choice may not be as random as everyone believes, as one competitor from the game on the 19th April has been seen on six other quiz shows over a period of seven years.
The contestant is 41 year old Dennis Powell, who has accumulated over £20,000 for such show as Deal or No Deal, The Weakest Link and Beg, Borrow or Steal.
