Swisscom’s IPTV service Bluewin TV ended Q1 with 64,000 subscribers, or 5,000 more than three months earlier.

At the same time, its fixed broadband subscriber total amounted to 1.66 million, a year-on-year increase of 15.4%.

Meanwhile Swisscom’s Italian operation Fastweb had 1.3888 million subscribers - of which an unspecified number received TV services - as of the end of March 2008, a year-on-year increase of 20.7%.

Swisscom’s net revenues in Q1 amounted to CHF2.933 billion (€1.799 billion), or 23.4% more than in the corresponding period last year, while EBITDA stood at CHF1.161 billion (+19.9%).

However, its net income fell by 7.2% to CHF428 million.
