National Geographic Channels International has given further details of the availability of National Geographic Channel HD in Austria and Switzerland. As reported in Broadband TV News over the past few days Nat Geo HD has been added to the UPC-owned networks in the German-speaking territories of Austria and Switzerland (Cablecom). The channel has also been added to the Naxoo network in the Swiss capital Geneva.
“We are extremely pleased that our viewers in Austria and Switzerland will now be able to experience the fascinating world of NGC HD”, said David Haslingden, CEO, National Geographic Channels International. “National Geographic Channel HD is television at its best, brilliantly showcasing our documentaries’ stunning imagery in a way that viewers expect from National Geographic”.
National Geographic Channel HD is available in the United States, UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Canada, Singapore, Japan, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Norway, Portugal and Denmark.
