MAI TV on the verge of tests

MAI TV yesterday received its first transmitter allowing the company to announce its test dates.

The company says it will begin its tests to the greater Suva area next week.

"Our engineers Coms Limited expect to install the new transmitter around the middle of next week which means we begin on-air tests", chief executive officer Richard Broadbridge said.

MAI TV says it intends to test its signals with LIVE satellite programmes from Europe and New Zealand from next week with local and other content to be added around the middle of June. Mr Broadbridge urged residents of Suva to either call Mai TV or go to their website (www.tv.com.fj) to ensure they have the right equipment to see its free signal.
