Top French shows on Le iTunes
By Julian Clover France has become the latest European country where it is possible to download video content from the iTunes store. Apple has signed content from French networks TF1, France Télévisions and Arté. Content from Mediatoon’s Dargaud TV and Dupuis TV is also available alongside iTunes regulars the The Walt Disney Company and MTV Networks. Primetime favourites include La main blanche, Les Contes de la Collection Chez Maupassant, Coeur Océan, Spirou et Fantasio, Lucky Luke and Le dessous des cartes. US content includes Lost, Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty and Bob L’eponge. Television shows are priced at €1.49, €1.99 and €2.49 per episode. Apple has confirmed that Disney Channel content is due to be added in the near future
