Lavell Systems Inc. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire SkyPort Global Communications, Lavell said June 5.
SkyPort, a provider in carrier-class satellite communications works with the National Guard and commercial clients in the oil and gas sector and recently won a contract with Cisco to provide satellite solutions to Cisco’s Emergency Response Networks. Lavell, a single-source provider of secure managed network and communications solutions, said it expected the deal to close in July.
“This acquisition will serve as the foundation of our Enterprise business division and will allow us to deliver a greater range of services to customers, strongly positioning us for continued success,” Patrick Brant, CEO of Lavell Systems, said in a statement.
