Bonking Brit runs dodgy SMS company
Bonking Brit runs dodgy SMS company
Start TV's Acors caught with pants down ![]() THE MAN described by the Currant Bun as boss of a SMS text company, Vince Acors, appears to have run a now defunct business. Acors is presently caught up in a scandal in Dubai. The INQ's efforts to track down the company in question – Start TV- have proved absolutely fruitless. A spokesperson for the trade association – AIME (Association for Interactive Media and Entertainment) – had heard of the company but explained that it had never been a member. Start TV doesn't appear to have a working web site and directory enquiries has no listing for the business. A trace on the company's financial returns provided an address in London's Chinatown but a current inhabitant of the building had no knowledge of where the business now trades from. Some sources have alleged that the reason why Start TV is so elusive may be that the company has actually ceased trading. According to the Sun, Acors was caught by Dubai Police in a compromising situation on a beach with a fellow Brit, Michelle Palmer. The pair are now stuck in Dubai until the authorities decide what action needs to be taken. Palmer has been writing in her blog, "There are a lot of wrong rumours circulating around, which at this crucial time are very damaging to me, those close to me and my case." Friends of Acors have set up a special page on Facebook here entitled 'Release Vince Acors from a Dubai Jail'. The group currently has twelve members who, so far, haven't been able to shed light on Acors' current career situation. He describes himself as a sales director with Start TV ![]()
