Grupo Planeta's national private broadcaster Antena 3 has a new investor: Banco Sabadell which has acquired 4.9% of the broadcaster’s capital from group Rayet for €48.8 million.
But the bank wants to rise this participation to 5.87% once it has received the necessary authorizations.

According to some official sources this participation from Banco Sabadell in Antena 3 corresponds to the interests of the bank in Spain's media world through a participation in a leading company such as Antena 3.
