MUMBAI: Chennai-based regional entertainment channel Kalaignar TV has entered into a distribution partnership with Sri Lanka’s direct-to-home (DTH) service provider Dialog TV .
As per the partnership, Dialog TV has introduced Kalaignar TV to its portfolio of international television content.
Kalaignar TV features women’s programmes, comedy shows, musical shows, dance shows, Tamil movies, children’s programmes among others.
Dialog TV CEO Nushad Perera said, “Kalaignar TV will feature the line-up of programmes for our Tamil viewers in addition to the progammes that are broadcasted on TBO (Tamil Box Office) and Star Vijay. I believe that, this will enhance the bond between Dialog TV and our Tamil speaking viewers.” With the launch of channels such as TBO, Star Vijay and Shruthi, Dialog TV has tailormade its channel content to enthuse the Tamil community, said a company releae.
