Satellite services operator Globecast is making some major staff changes, including the departure of Globecast America CEO Mary Frost (pictured, left). A release says: “GlobeCast is making a number of strategic management changes as it continues to build on its international growth. Following her successful three-year transformation of GlobeCast America, CEO Mary Frost has moved on to pursue personal projects.”

Mary Frost’s departure, for whatever reason, has left Globecast without a CEO in the Americas, although she stays on the Board of Globecast America until January 2009. Globecast says Christian Pinon (chairman/CEO) will act as interim CEO for the American unit until a new appointment is made.

Globecast also has a new COO for its French domestic division. Currently VP/Operations Phillipe Fort has been promoted to COO Globecast France.
