TF1 could sell TF1 International
TF1 has revealed it is “thinking about the future of TF1 International”, its audiovisual rights acquisition and distribution subsidiary. The confirmation came after daily Les Echos revealed that the group plans to sell it, mentioning several potential buyers including Orange, StudioCanal, Wild Bunch, Entertainment One, as well as producer Tarak Ben Ammar in association with Canadian company Alliance.
“The objective is only to allow it to develop,” TF1 added. The catalogue of TF1 International comprises 600 movies and audiovisual productions.
