Unitymedia extends DTH package

Jörn Krieger, on 28-08-2008
German cable operator Unitymedia is adding two erotic channels to its DTH satellite platform arenaSAT: Alpenglühen TVX, and Playboy TV.
Alpenglühen TVX is a channel offering German and Austrian erotic comedies from the 70s and 80s, while Playboy TV is the TV service of the men’s magazine. Both will join the pay-TV offer distributed on Astra (19.2° East) from September 1.

New to basic package arenaSAT FAMILY, which will continue to cost €14.90 per month, is Romance TV, a thematic channel with romantic films, series and telenovelas. When taken in combination with Alpenglühen TVX and Playboy TV, the package expands to arenaSAT FAMILY XL for €18.90 per month. Customers who also wish to receive sports channel sportdigital.tv can subscribe to the extended package arenaSAT FAMILY XXL for €22.50 per month. arenaSAT KOMPLETT, which offers the 21 channels from arenaSAT FAMILY and the soccer Bundesliga coverage compiled by Premiere, costs €24.90 per month. Viewers who also wish to receive the new erotic services can opt for the arenaSAT KOMPLETT XL package for €28.90 per month. Sportdigital.tv can be added for €4.90 per month.

All subscription options carry an additional satellite fee of €5 per month.
