In line with the current reform of networks’ production obligations piloted by the French ministry of Culture, Canal+ Group has announced it will be the first group to sign an agreement modernizing the relationships between broadcasters and independent producers.


The pay-TV group has concluded a deal with producers’ associations USPA and SPFA that will adapt the length of the rights given to the network according to the programming genre and the amount of the network’s investment.

Such an agreement also includes catch-up TV and Vod rights as well as all Canal+ channels including Canal+ Le Bouquet as well as children, drama and doc channels such as Canal+ Family and Planète.
