Parallel, a satellite communications company, signed a contract with Ship Equip of Norway to supply the company with enterprise grade satellite network management software suite, SatManage.
SatManage is designed to work with the iDirect systems used by Ship Equip to provide a consolidated view of the entire global network infrastructure.
With the contract, Parallel’s share in the maritime satellite communications industry has reached 34 percent within 12 months of the company’s market push to acquire new business in the maritime sector, Parallel said.
