Founded by filmmaker Graeme Ballard, Devolution Media, which operates website devolutionmedia.eu, has just launched on the market place.
Presented as a social networking website for the multimedia community, and that targets creators and artists of all sectors as well as new talent, Devolution Media will also act as an independent movie producer and distributor of contents coming from its web-site
At last week's Mipcom programming market in Cannes the platform introduced its first truly digital gameshow. Hosted by TV magician David Penn, '100 Seconds of Fame' brings contestants to battle through to win an ultimate prize of 100 seconds, so as to talk about what they want and get their message broadcast all over the world.
This game, co-produced with Anglo-French company Little Nemo, is in line with Devolution Media philosophy : "giving power to the people". Membership is free and once registered, members can upload creative content such as screenplays or music.
