RRSat Global Communications Network will provide uplink and playout services for the new Fashion TV Paris high-definition channel, FTV HD, over Asia, Australia, Europe, Middle East and Africa, the network announced Oct. 22.
The new channel is available in Asia, Australia and Africa via the Thaicom 5 satellite and in Europe, Middle East and North Africa via Eurobird 9.
“RRSat will leverage its technologically advanced high-definition center and unique star system to provide Fashion TV with uplink and playout services to these five, far spanning geographic regions,” David Rivel, CEO and founder of RRSat, said in a statement.
