Fiji TV names new group CEO
Fiji TV names new group CEO





Fiji Television Limited has named its current Chief Operating Officer Tarun Patel as its new group chief executive.

In making the announcement, Fiji TV chairman Isoa Kaloumaira said the board was confident it had made the right choice for the top job.

Patel has been with Fiji TV since its inception in 1994 and started off as a camera operator, editor and presentation director before being appointed manager operations.

He will be responsible for overall leadership of the Fiji TV Group, Media Niugini Limited and Communications Pacific Limited.

Patel replaces Mesake Nawari, who resigned to join the USP’s Graduate School of Business.

Meanwhile, the board has also appointed David Eyre as general manager COMPAC.
