Pace Micro Technology is today announcing the launch of its high definition (HD) free-to-air satellite set-top box – giving viewers in the UK the ability to watch the latest HD content, such as the forthcoming FIFA World Cup matches being broadcast by the BBC.
To enjoy free-to-air HD content, viewers will need a satellite dish pointed to 19.2° or 28.2° (with BBC HD satellite programming only available on the latter feed) and an HD-Ready television set to watch the content.
The Pace HD box will retail around £299.
