Star One UK launches local chat show 'Hot Seat'

MUMBAI: Star One UK, the general entertainment channel in UK which until now has been heavy on sourcing content from India, has now decided to launch its own locally produced chat show featuring the celebrities of the British Asian music industry.

The show, titled Hot Seat, will be the first locally produced content on the channel.

Hot Seat will be hosted by London’s popular DJ and RJ Mr Kay of radio station Buzz Asia and coming as guests will be musicians, singers and producers.

“Hot Seat is our initiative at local programming that aims to connect with the British-Asian population in the UK. We hope to showcase the who's who of UK on our new chat show,” says Star UK and Europe VP distribution & sales Yeshpal Sharma.
